Futures Isle exists to support people, communities and organisations to find the next step on their journey.

What does this mean?

It means that we have struggled to figure out what it is we want to do when we 'grow up'. It means that we have wrestled with how to get great ideas off the ground. It means that we get how uncertain things feel when you are figuring out what your future career will look like. It means that we too have stressed over writing CVs and job applications.

It means that we want to help you get to where you want to go.

So, how do we do this?

We partner with organisations, projects and initiatives that share our values and have meaningful impact. We are facilitators, program managers/developers and consultants.

Most importantly though, we love people and places and want to see them shine.

A few very important things that you need to know about us:

We love our home, lutruwita/Tasmania. In fact, it’s the inspiration behind our name - Futures Isle. Growing up here, we often felt like we needed to move to the mainland for ‘real’ career opportunities. We are passionate about fostering Tasmanian opportunities to enable other young (or older) go-getters to forge their path on our island. 

We believe in people over pathways. There are no right or wrong answers while we all figure out who and where we want to be. We love that a meaningful pathway can be different for each person - self-employment, a first job, the dream job, further study, a passion project… 

Finally, we are obsessed with statement earrings and inspirational slogan tees. Hit us up with recommendations of places to shop (because helping the small business economy is our speciality!)
